Managing a server
Startup
Memory, Java options and how the server is launched.
Memory
How much memory Java may use. Stop the server to change it. Leave a few GB free for the rest of your computer.
Extra Java options
Advanced. Consolry sets the memory and the server file itself; anything you add here goes between them.
- Add the faster-startup option makes Java remember what it loaded and reuse it next time. It measured about 8% faster. It takes effect after one clean stop.
- Use Paper's recommended options fills in the set Paper suggests for your version.
Stop command
The command typed into the console to shut the server down cleanly. For Minecraft it is stop.
Which Java is used
The page says which Java the server needs and which one will run it. If your computer's own Java is new enough, that is used. Otherwise Consolry uses a copy it downloaded for itself, kept in its data folder. It never changes the Java installed on your computer.
