Files

The Files tab shows the server's own folder.

• Open a folder by clicking it. The path at the top takes you back up.
• Edit a text file by clicking it. Change it, then Save.
• Upload files from your computer into the folder you are looking at.
• New file and New folder create empty ones.
• Download, Rename and Delete are on each row. Deleting a folder deletes everything in it.

Large files and files that are not text, such as .jar files and world data, download instead of opening in the editor.

Most settings files are only read when the server starts, so restart the server after changing one. For the common Minecraft settings, the Game settings tab is easier than editing server.properties by hand.

A server can only reach its own folder. Nothing in the Files tab can read or change files anywhere else on your computer.
